C3 fundraising events planned throughout 2006:

	Saturday, 15 July 2006 70's Night Barbecue. Chesterfield Children's Charity bring a new evening to our event diary - a celebration of the 70's held at Chesterfield Cricket Pavillion, Queens Park, Chesterfield on Saturday 15 July. The evening will be hosted by an Elvis impersonator who will combine live vocals together with a disco. Food for the evening will be a barbecue. C3 will take a percentage of the bar takings so 'drinking boots' please!! Tickets are £15.00 and can be made by e-mailing jayhowson@aol.com or by contacting Richard Joy at Glossop's Solicitors.
	Saturday, 26 August 2006 An evening of Jazz at Chatsworth House in association with HSBC. Chesterfield Children's Charity are proud to announce an evening of jazz at Chatsworth House on Saturday, 26 August from 7:45 pm. The event will be held in the superb setting of the main courtyard and will have a medley of live music throughout the evening by the famous 'Al Needham Jazz Band.' Chatsworth House will supply catering with a lavish barbecue using their home produce. This really is an evening NOT to be missed. Tickets for this event are £25.00 - due to huge interest shown for this event , bookings will be taken from Friday, 28 April with payment due by 16 June 2006 - please book early to avoid disappointment. 	Saturday, 28 October 2006 Black Tie Dinner Dance. Chesterfield Children's Charity are holding their annual dinner dance at The Chesterfield Hotel on Saturday, 28 October. Due to the success of last year, we are doing it all again - same band, same band venue. Again, the evening will comprise a four course dinner (with some wine),auction and music by the 'famous' Casablance Boys. Tickets for this event are £45.00 - due to huge interest shown for this event bookings will be taken from Friday, 28 April with payment due by Friday, 28 July 2006 - please book early to avoid disappointment. Sponsored Walk Sunday, 23 April 2006
Chesterfield Children's Charity held their annual sponsored walk on Sunday, 23 April. The overall turnout was very good and all the walkers enjoyed good weather with temperatures above average for the time of year. The walk route was around 5 miles and took in some of the wonderful scenery around the reservoirs at Linacre. The trustees would like to thank all participants and sponsors.
Pie and Pea Supper in association with NatWest Friday, 19 May 2006
C3 held their second Pie and Pea Supper at Chesterfield Cricket Club on Friday, 19 May. Guests enjoyed live Irish music together with a delicious Pie and Pea Supper catered by Trevor Jackson and his team. C3 would also like to say a 'huge' thanks to Trevor Jackson and Jackson Bakers and Brian and Cheryl Gladwin.
